Roughly 10% of America’s population suffer from eczema. While it’s more common in children, it is also found in adults at all ages. And what about treatment? Remedies For Eczema – How to Kill the Itch

If you suffer from eczema, you should be familiar with the condition, how often it can flare up and just how complex and painful the skin can get. While eczema is a common disease, it is one that shouldn’t be overlooked as something small, as eczema that’s left untreated properly can turn into a nasty skin infection. And that is the last thing that anyone wants.

Treating eczema can be a complicated thing in itself for some people. Typically, for most eczema cases, doctors prescribe a prescription cream or ointment – a topical application that is usually comprised of a cream base and a steroid to stop the skin from swelling. While this does work in treating the symptoms of eczema, it only does just that. It doesn’t help prevent or eliminate eczema completely, and it also can be harder on the skin that is already sensitive from the damage caused by eczema.

So, what other remedies for eczema exist out there? For those who are having problems (especially those with incredibly itchy eczema), there is one home remedy that will kill the itch!

Chamomile oil is one of the better remedies for eczema, helping bring the itching sensation down to a halt. And it’s very simple to use. You simply dab some of the oil on a cotton pad and spread it evenly across any affected areas of your skin. Try this a few times a day. It works to bring moisture back into the skin, which will help that itching go away. You can find chamomile oil at your local grocery store or at a pharmacy near you.

When it comes to eczema, natural treatments typically work the best.

Baby Eczema – Everything You Need to Know

by JMDN

Eczema can be one tough cookie to beat. It’s a skin disease that affects thousands of children across America. In fact, nine out of ten children are diagnosed with the skin disease before they hit the age of 5, and two-thirds of children get eczema before they even reach 6 weeks of age! Those results obviously show that eczema is more widespread than most think.

Many parents may not even realize that their child has eczema, as the symptoms may first appear to be atypical to regular, dry skin. The problem is, the symptoms eventually worsen, producing dry, red patches across different parts of their bodies. With the eczema comes the uncontrollable itching that is associated with the disease. It is also often painful, as the skin may crack open and bleed occasionally.

If you think you’re child has eczema, you may want to seek the advice of a medical professional to get it properly diagnosed. If you’re child already has eczema, you most likely know about the prescription creams and medicines that are used to treat the symptoms of eczema. The problem with these creams is that they only provide temporary relief of the symptoms of eczema, but do not actually cure it completely.

Since the eczema does not become fully cured with skin treatments, it will go away temporarily, only to eventually continue to flare up throughout their childhood. Also, prescription creams can even worsen the symptoms of eczema in some people. This is why I was dedicated to find an alternative way to treat and cure eczema.

See, my daughter suffered from eczema badly. And while we wasted money on all sorts of medicines, creams and treatments, I finally found a cure for her eczema. The best part? It was all natural. You can learn more about how to cure baby eczema at Cure Eczema.

by kthrn

When baby eczema happens to any babies, I believe that no father or mother can feel nothing when they see their baby suffering from this condition. Even older people are having eczema, they can still feel all the pain and discomfort. So, imagine that this same situation happens to the little one. I just can’t think of that. What I can tell you is just not only the baby is having a tough time, but the parants is having a hard time also since they don’t know what to do, where to go, or who to go for help.

So, in this article, I have gathered some easy techniques to help healing baby eczema, and hope these techniques might come in handy someday.

The First thing you need to do to cure baby eczema is to get new bedding. This can be applied to cure adult eczema also. As you know that eczema symptoms can be worse because of the use of wrong fabrics. Think about it that how bad it would be if your baby is sleeping in that wrong fabrics all day.

There are a few things that you can do to avoid baby eczema to your little one. First, try to use 100% soft cotton bedding and also try to make it clean as often as possible. If your baby’s bedding is dirty, there will be some tiny bacteria which is the cause of the itching in your baby’s skin. One more thing, speaking of cleaning the bed, always use the unscented detergents since these scents and perfumes can be the good condition to develop eczema symptoms. This can be considered as one of the baby eczema treatment.

The Second thing you need to do for baby eczema care is to regularly bathe your baby. This is the most common baby eczema treatment. Only cleaning the bed is not enough, you have to bathe your baby also, once a day at least, but twice will be recommended. One of the tip in bathing your baby is to control the temperature of the water. This is important for baby eczema care because if the water is too warm (almost hot), it will make your baby’s skin to dry, which is the best condition for itching symptom. However, if the water is a little cold (not warm enough), it will make your baby getting a chill. So, to care for your baby eczema, you need to do this right. In addition, bathing will help removing some bacteria from your baby’s skin. This is also another one of the baby eczema treatment.

The Third thing you need to do for baby eczema care is to keep your baby’s skin moisturized. Do you have any idea that eczema symptom is worsened because of the stress? Then, your next question might be – the baby doesn’t know anything, yet. So, does he feel stress, too?

The answer is yes. You need to consider this factor in order to heal your baby eczema as well. When the baby feel itching, he doesn’t know what it is or why it’s happening, you see, it’s the time that the baby feel stress, which, of course, that would make the itch worse, and also increase the stress, and so on. Poor little baby has to be in this vicious cycle.

But moisturizing your baby is the best baby eczema treatment you can do. Ok, when should you do this? After bathing your baby will be the perfect time. However, when you apply your moisturizer to your baby, do not dry your baby completely. Just dab your baby with soft towel and use the moisturizer to your baby’s damp skin. Doing this will lock the moisture from the bath also. This method is a good baby eczema treatment which is used by many people.

I hope that these baby eczema techniques can help you lower the bad situation for your baby eczema. Well, actually, I wish that you don’t want to use these techniques at all because your baby should be fine and healthy. However, if it’s not like that, try these baby eczema care techniques and you will be amazed by its result.
